Dropped by the House of Deputies this morning before the session started and watched the flags go up behind the podium representing the "American version" of the Anglican Communion. How many times now have I been "reminded" that the Episcopal Church is "global Anglican communion" of "sixteen nations?"
Don't recall this "sixteen nation" or "global church" or even the name-changed "TEC" ever coming up at a General Convention
