Joint Session of General Convention

The Presiding Bishop is now making his open remarks. He is saying there may need to be relinquishments "on all sides." Conversation works, he says, as hearts and minds have been opened. He wants the new PB and the ACC to have an opportunity to be in the table to be in conversation (NOTE: He once again ignores the Primates of the Anglican Communion).

The PB is now presenting B-033 (text is the posting below). As Frank Griswold reads there is thunder crashing over the building and lightening flashing across the sky.

He is now closing the session with prayer and then the Bishops will leave the House of Deputies and go to the House of Bishops. There they will be considering B-033 while the House of Deputies meet as a separate house.
