Debate will continue to 7:00 p.m.

Northern Indiana - grieves pain that is between himself and gays he can't marry.

The next person is against the resolution because gays will have to go to other provinces to get consecrated.

Louisana - In favor of the resolution because the committee worked so long and so hard - wants the language exactly as it is (of course, because the language is politically nuanced very very carefully). Notes that all the other orders of ministry are wide open.

Minnesota - with unofficial infant presence (she has a little baby with her) - Opposes the resolution because she hopes her baby daughter laughs when she falls in love with a woman and wants to be a bishop (?).

Next Deputy thinks that Windsor is seriously flawed - rejects the theology - only wants free dialogue. The Windsor Report is telling the American Church what to do by the Archbishop of Canterbury, by foreign dioceses (names the Bishop of Durham), Nigeria, and others and says its empty apologies and that the American Church has nothing to apologize for.

The next Deputy thinks that this is the right thing to do - again mentions that nothing should be amended, commends how hard the committee worked and says it was carefully crafted.

The next Deputy is no - thinks America has nothing to apologize for. Will not accept crucifixion and drive nails into the hands of gays and lesbians in the church.

Next Deputy - a conflicted moderate - has gay friends and finds this a hard decision - he's in favor of the resolution because it gives room to work.

Colorado - are we to infer that had Bishop Robinson or herself or anyone else happened to be gay - if they lie they will be more acceptable in leadership? Defeat resolution.

Alabama - Lost a lot of members of his church to other churches and accepts ther resolution as hopeful and helpful.

Kendall Harmon - would like clarification on procedural motions -

Werner is now answering Kendall's question about what procedure's.

Kendall - Speaks no to resolution. The language is totally not clear. What happened to the all the pleas for clarity? The water is murky, is turgent, and I can't see. Can't see how his wife could say this. Piling three verbs on top of each other. It moves away from clarity of Windsor. The Windsor Report calls for a moritorium. The resolution is not clear - it can't be done by a house with good conscience.

Southwest Florida - Sheron Lewis - There is a call for us to bear the crucixion - favors resolution.

Youth Presence - Against the resolution because he acknowledges all human beings as creations of God. He doesn't deny love to anyone.

Northwest Texas - Favors resolution - wants a way to move forward.
