OFTLOP BB... You've just taken me back to the 6th Grade and North Brandywine Junior HS. You can win the trifecta by adding "Heart Beat" by the DiFranco Family and "Billy don't be a Hero".

Otherwise, a great tribute to chi-town, that beautiful borough that seems to define political corruption.

I always hated this song! Changed the radio station whenever it came on. (Looking for Lobo, Neil Diamond, Elton John, the Carpenters, Guess Who or some decent band!) However my younger sister liked it -- but there's no accounting for taste! At the time most of our Top 40 radio listening came from Chicago stations WCFL, WLS, and Milwaukee's WOKY -- all on AM. (We lived in West Michigan but picked up their strong signals from across the lake!)

Sadly all these songs, Andy, are in my record collection from those teen years. Obviously, Jill, you were the one with the taste.

Yes, I even own Feelings. I'm not sure I'm even brave enough to open those boxes now stored safely away. But it is amazing how hearing one of those 70s tunes can take you right back where you were when the tune was getting the air play.

Yes, we even have The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia.

My favorite is "Daddy was a cop -- on the EAST side of Chicago". A city with no East-side, I guess unless you're on the water patrol...
