"To dismiss more than 150 years of such documentation as some huge misunderstanding is just not persuasive."From the Letter of Opinion, Re: In Re: Multi-Circuit Episcopal Church Property Litigation (CL 2007-0248724): Letter Opinion on Remaining 57-9 Issues, page 20.

Mary, for a good laugh (or cry), go to the Thinking Anglicans comment section on the ADV legal victory. Much wailing and gnashing of teeth.
Have a blessed Christmas!
Come let us adore Him.

Re "2. ECUSA'S AND THE DIOCESE'S MOTION TO RECONSIDER PART OF THE LETTER OPINION ON THE COURT'S FIVE QUESTIONS
ECUSA's and the Diocese's motion to reconsider is DENIED. In their pleadings, the parties argue about the scope and meaning of the Court's Five Question opinion. The opinion, however, speaks for itself, and this Court sees no basis to reconsider or revise its decision.":
LOL!! This method of re-interpreting writing any way ECUSA wants works well in the writing and statements of ECUSA leaders, but it sure doesn't stand up in court!
Because of some Internet phenom that Mousetalker roped me into, you are hereby Tagged: http://redstickrant.blogspot.com/2008/12/um-ok.html
And honestly - someone who spends that much time on Dylan should be tagged, IMHO. [grin!!]
I wonder when the Dio of VA will inform all its remaining parishes that it is time to change the names on the deeds and re-record the property? After the appeal? Or have they already done so?
Either way, if the ruling stands, and I can't see how the Diocese will get around ordering parishes to re-title their real property.
It will be interesting to see if everyone complies with the marching orders. They are coming.

Robroy... You were spot-on about the comments over on Thinking Anglicans! Thought I'd need to put on safety goggles the way the sparks are flying.
All the same, It's good to be an Anglican... A peace upon your Homes.
