Uh oh.
As bishops in the Church of England, we are deeply saddened and shocked by the proposed deposition of Bishop Robert Duncan in the Episcopal Church, USA. We declare that we continue to believe that Bishop Bob is a bishop in the Church of God and a bishop in good standing in the Anglican Communion. We continue to pray for him and for his diocese of Pittsburgh.

What does it take for everyone outside the ECUSA to understand that YOU ARE WRONG?
Fred, I know what it would take for everyone INSIDE of ECUSA to realize they are wrong - God's mercy and favor, granting them the gifts of conviction of sin, Godly sorrow unto repentance, forgiveness - a Damascus Road experience removal of blindness, the gift of true holy eyes - true spiritual sight...to understand and revere the Word of Life. It would take an act of God to redeem ECUSA.
Absent an act of God, ECUSA will go on its way, not able to discern good from evil and continue to seek to subvert and destroy true Christianity.
I am shocked, SHOCKED, that they are shocked.
Move along. Move along. Nothing to see here. Move along.
Ah, Fred, it must hurt a lot to realize that most Christians inside (and even outside) of the Anglican Communion see TEC as sliding toward apostasy, and see Bishop Duncan as a faithful witness to the truth. We're so sorry they haven't been fooled.
