Yippeee! Bob Dylan coming to Columbia, Maryland, September 28

The concert has just been added to his "Never-Ending Tour." He's coming to the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland on September 28.

Or as Dylan says,

"Everybody get ready -
lift up your glasses and sing
Everybody get ready
to lift up your glasses and sing ..."

UPDATE: BabyBlue has secured her tickets. The last time we were at Merriweather Post Pavilion was over twenty years ago to hear John Denver. Ah, but we were so much older then ...

Do you often go to feasts after riding on roller coasters?

Thinking of a series of dreams
Where the time and the tempo fly
And there's no exit in any direction
'Cept the one that you can't see with your eyes

Dreams where the umbrella is folded
Into the path you are hurled
And the cards are no good that you're holding
Unless they're from another world.

Hmmm... File error on Highway 61 revisited. And I was looking forward to that.

There is a Saturday night radio show here in Missippi on the public radios stations; the name of the show is Highway 61 revisited. They often play the original version by the Blues master, followed by the later singer (e.g. Elvis) who covers it. But I have not heard them play Dylan's 61.

The Rabbit.

Yeah, I've been trying out different songs out of the jukebox. Finally ended up with the #1 Rock Song of All Time. Really wanted to do Highway 61, but the error kept coming up, so went with The Other One. By the way, this song was the first time Al Kooper ever played keyboards (he was a guitarist, but Butterfield, an awesome guitarist, was playing so Al was sidelined until he snuck in when the producer wasn't looking and sat behind the organ). The organ became a signature of the song. The organ is always just a half-step behind - and just makes the song. Funny how that happens.
