Amen!!!

I can add nothing more to this song than it's simple cry. It has been mime much less eloquently many a nights.

Thanks for this post, Kevin.

O Lord, I need You
O Lord, I need You
O Lord, I need You

Which is perhaps another way of saying:

Lord have mercy
Christ have mercy
Lord have mercy

The Kryie certainly works!!!

I was sort of thinking it's more along a cross with Brenda Lefave's" "I Need You to Hold Me" and “Jesus, Lord of Life and Glory” (Cummins/Thompson)

"Jesus, Lord of life and glory"

Jesus, Lord of life and glory,
bend from heaven thy gracious ear
While our waiting souls adore thee,
Friend of helpless sinners, hear:

By thy mercy, O deliver us, good Lord.
By thy mercy, O deliver us, good Lord, good Lord.

When temptation solely presses,
in the day of Satan’s power
In our times of deep distresses,
in each dark and trying hour:

By thy mercy, O deliver us, good Lord.
By thy mercy, O deliver us, good Lord, good Lord.

When the world around is smiling,
in the time of wealth and ease
Earthly joys our hearts beguiling,
in the day of health and peace:

By thy mercy, O deliver us, good Lord.
...

Which has become on of my favorite hymns/songs (rearrangement of classic words into verse/chorus)

Either is very it's very pretty and message need to fully ingest.
