On a random side note:That lighthouse maybe for sale. Lee Ann my home-group co-leader (not to be confused Leanne, the host for the Rez group) sells lighthouses for a living. The Coast Guard set up a small beacon, but they don't need the whole structure anymore, so it could be yours ...
Kevin, where is this lighthouse and who do we call to learn the price?
Rez groups weekly meetings break for the summer, but I think we're attempting to get together for the 4th, I'll have to ask about the process.I'm not sure about this one particular lighthouse, but they apparently are all over. However it does not seem to be a very high demand market. Lee Ann and Alex took two years off to work with a youth mission in Romania, when she returned, not only did she get her old job back but even the same cubical, no one really did that job for those two years.
AS promised, I found out some information, there's a web site that like the GSA's own eBay.
More fun ... the US CG's comments on the subject
Thanks, Kevin. It appears I have to be a non-profit before I can get lighthouse info. Actually, my husband would probably tell you that I AM non-profit. I guess I just have to register so that it is official. : )
