Introducing: Common Cause Cycle of Prayer

Here's a terrific resource to help us pray for the Common Cause Partnership. Beginning this Sunday, we can all join together and pray for different partners in Common Cause over the next 41 weeks, from the second Sunday of Lent through the end of Pentecost. This abbreviated schedule enables us to begin next year’s Cycle with I Advent. The Cycle is organized as follows:

Weeks 1-9 Common Cause Partners and Observers
Weeks 10-33 Geographic Subgroupings
Weeks 33-37 Non-Geographic Subgroupings
Weeks 38-39 Ministries
Weeks 40-41 Seminaries

You can download the Cycle of Prayer here. I've also created a widget that you can embed on your blog or website or church website. Here's the code:

COMMON CAUSE CYCLE OF PRAYER

This is a very small widget - but you can change the size by changing the "width" and "height" code to better fit your website. This one looks like this:

You can read more about it here, as well as post your prayer concerns. Thanks, Peter, for the links!

One does wonder why they left out +Barnum but did include Booker+ very odd ... well I suppose they figure bishops don't do much and Mark+ needs all the prayer anyways?

Despite my tease - this is a wonderful idea!

We're open to revisions, but could you be more specific? info@united-anglicans.org. Thanks.
