When the moon is in the Seventh House ...

Blogger "Reformed Pastor" has some interesting research into one of the candidates for Episcopal Bishop of El Camino Real (more here and here). I like U2 too - but this is wild. Processing Smugeons anyone?

Lets all sing together now... This is the dawning of the age of asparagus, age of asparagus, asparagus...

Keep singing, Andy. It takes a good three years to get a good asparagus bed going.

I may be a bit of a nut case myself, I do fully advocate a Wholistic approach to ministry (not necessarily Holistic though). I do believe in mind, body and soul needs to be addressed. Often in proper diet can cause other issues or at least exasperate them -- ever had that nasty orange drink shoved at you because your electrolytes were out of balance?

Yes asparagus is full of many wonderful vitamins and minerals, in season for such a short time ... we definitely need more asparagus! I certainly am all for more asparagus consumption for mind, body and soul.

I love you guys. ;-)

I was so busy today reading up on the Colorado Thingy (see photo and theme above this post) then came over here to the discussion on asparagus. I just love you guys.

From her picture, she looks nice. I wonder if she would be as puzzled by us as we are by her.

What do you think that school uses for a mascot?

When my daughter was a baby, I found out that the daycare lady was into reiki (sp?) and new age healing. I was horrified and changed sitters as soon as possible (she was Iranian and came recommended by friends, so it was a bit unexpected.) I kept praying that I hadn't inadvertently opened my daughter up to bad things and prayed a lot. Hmmm... maybe that's where my girl's sassiness comes from ? :-)
