Do you know Laura Story? I think that you would like her a lot the way you go on and on about Bob Dylan (wink ;^). She wrote the song that Chris Tomlin made famous, Indescribable. Her version of her song is more "earthy"(?). Anyway, I think she is fantastic and she has rendition of this song, too:
