Great orthodox theology here - another original way to explain original sin. Once we come out of denial, that is. Everything is broken. Only, this one you can dance to. Somehow I can see St. Matthew over in the corner with his old tax collector buddies rockin' on this one. Been there, done that, got the t-shirt, discovered - what's the name of the album this song is from - Oh, mercy. Guess that's why we need a Savior after all.

Honest to God, BB, I find your idea of sin to be facile and opportunistic. Every time you post, you sin. Especially when you invoke Dylan. The Gospel is about healing, not division. Please stop.
What do you think Dylan is talking about in this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4q4GWKUOLK4
Of course, it's not dark yet - but it's getting there and we know that sometimes Satan comes as a man of peace. But someday, baby, you ain't gonna worry poor me no more, though we still gotta to serve somebody, for if it keeps on raining the levy's gonna break while things are breakin' up out there, high water everywhere.
The suffering is unending Every nook and cranny has it's tears I'm not playing, I'm not pretending I'm not nursing any superfluous fears
Ain't talkin', just walkin' Walkin' ever since the other night Heart burnin', still yearnin' Walkin' ‘til I'm clean out of sight
As I walked out in the mystic garden On a hot summer day, hot summer lawn Excuse me, ma'am I beg your pardon There's no one here, the gardener is gone
Ain't talkin', just walkin' Up the road around the bend Heart burnin', still yearnin' In the last outback, at the world's end
But that's not the end of the story, oh no.
It's dark and it's dreary I ponder in vain I'm weakened, I'm weary My repentance is plain
Beyond the horizon o'er the treacherous sea I still can't believe that you've set aside your love for me Beyond the horizon, 'neath crimson skies In the soft light of morning I'll follow you with my eyes Through countries and kingdoms and temples of stone Beyond the horizon right down to the bone
It's late in the season Never knew, never cared Whatever the reason Someone's life has been spared
Beyond the horizon the sky is so blue I've got more than a lifetime to live lovin' you
