Just picked up this little news item of a recent "afters" party in Boston at the trendy UpStairs on the Square in Cambridge. Following U2's recent surprise five-song show at the Somerville Theatre, three members of U2 (Bono, Edge, and Adam) joined a "by-invitation-only" soiree with sixty well-healed business media exes, while drummer-extraordinaire Larry Mullen Jr. took a different course and ended up hoisting a few with the regular folks over at Tommy Doyle's Irish Pub instead.
