September is not the only date of interest this year - how about July 21?

For those of us who are getting ready for the release of the final book in the Harry Potter series this July, check out this great website, Sword of Gryffindor. It focuses on theories and speculation over the unresolved mysteries (that we hope will be resolved in the final book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. In addition, they have podcasts and are fun to listen to and for those who are serious about the books (or want to be) this is a great place to drop in to and read the articles. Click below to hear the latest podcast:

The fun part is also hearing the baby in the background.

Thanks for the tip, anon - interesting that he would be so public in opposing Schori's "Nixon strategy." Is she going to box him in the corner - especially since he was the catalyst that got the whole public parade started?

There is no doubt that Gene's views are on principle and they are consistent. What Schori is asking the TEC progressives to do is to either step away from their public principles or adopt a TEC version of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell."

I am surprised he was take such a public stand - he must be worried that Schori will carry the day and keep TEC from walking apart from the Anglican Communion by gaining the upper hand in the House of Bishops - certainly more conservative than the House of Deputies. It will be interesting to see what comes from this weekend's Executive Council meeting and the House of Bishops' meeting later this month.

Why do we think Gene went public against KJS?

PS BabyBlueCafe or the "Hogs Head" (or the Leaky Cauldron for that matter) all good places to pull up a Butterbeer and chew on theories ... ;-)
