At the risk of being placed in the heretic category, I agree with what Rob Bell says in this interview. I find connections here with Julian of Norwich

A change of heart is a gift of the Holy Spirit. Is there a point at which a heart changes no more, because God says "THY will be done"?
Wow what a great example of straw-manning your opponents, drawing false dichotomies, and really really bad hermeneutics...of course that's typical for someone like Bell who no longer stands within the pale of orthodoxy.

Perhaps its time to get out and read Matthew 5 again.
