We think we've been watching too much Monty Python lately. Pass that bowl of popcorn.

Nice BB... Now did Dylan cover the seekers or vice versa?
It's a beautiful day out there and the Catbird and his nestmates are heading for the Potomac this afternoon.

Peace..

The Seekers covered Dylan. There's another Seekers video I found which we may see up here soon. Waiting for the right moment. This is a vision of the 60 (which is why I found the video strangely amusing) that we seldom remember, but it is the 60s I personally remember since I was in single digits in those days. This was the version of the 60s that made it into our house, along with Peter, Paul, and Mary. It is no wonder that so many freaked out when Dylan plugged in.

BB, I am obviously much older than you as I can clearly remember "A World of Our Own." Also the afternoon that two friends and I took the bus from St. Andrew's parish to downtown Charleston, SC to the arcade theater to see Georgie Girl. What a great night. Good times, good memories.

And it was about the same time period that I would come to NoVA to visit family and we would go to Carter Baron to see Peter,Paul, and Mary on a warm summer night. Wolf Trap is just not the same.

Why are summer night so much better when you are young?

I've been to Carter Baron - saw Taming of the Shrew there a few years ago. Neat place. I too saw Peter, Paul & Mary at Wolftrap - Wolftrap is sort of a "Bobo" version of Carter Baron. ;-) Carter Baron actually reminds me of the type of place where the old Newport Folk Festival was held, don't you think?
