Where did they find this guy? He's great!

That's Karl Urban. He is best known for playing Éomer in the second and third installments of Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings trilogy. ;-)

PS - for Trekkers - did you hear who identified himself over the speakers as the captain? ;-)

Don't know about anyone else but I thought this was hysterical.

Captain Pike. Perhaps he has his little accident with a a baffling plate/Delta rays during the movie?

It's Bones! It's a young Bones! Pretty convincing, I'd say. Can't wait to see if Scotty's character has been included. Next month, right?

Capt. Pike, BB. I do remember that name! ;)

Oh it's great to laugh, isn't it. I love that little bit of Capt. Pike which is a treat to us long-time Trekkers. If Pike has that accident during this film, than McCoy is right to be wacked out.

The interaction between the young Kirk and McCoy is priceless and wait and see Spock (who is a ringer for Classic Trek Spock, but not so under control as he later is) thrown into that mix. I agree that this is The Real McCoy that we are seeing. Guess we'll hear that name come up as well.

Yes, Scotty is in the film too.

The film opens May 8. ;-)

I don't know about you, but I think we have had enough Jean Luc Picard in the office of Archbishop of Canterbury, and we could use a James T. Kirk.

Being in N. Michigan, for a second, I thought he said "diocese".

Somebody send me a text if anything KJS is excommunicated between May 8th and about the 10th. I will be at the movies.
