Most of those waving palms were shouting crucify him by Friday.
By the light of burning martyrs, Christ, Thy bleeding feet we track, Toiling up new Calv’ries ever with the cross that turns not back; New occasions teach new duties, time makes ancient good uncouth, They must upward still and onward, who would keep abreast of truth.
A Lenten thought..... Imagine what it may have been like when Jesus walked the earth. He came with many messages. At that time and in that region of the world all followed the Jewish faith and the Old Testament. They had strict dietetic, hygenic, and social rules in place. When Jesus came he told everyone to put those things aside and follow him. He changed all of the rules that were written in the Torah. Imagine what would happen if he came today with that message. Would we continue to follow him? Do we believe that the Bible is all that God had to say? Would we cruxify Christ again today?

Thanks for this, BB!
Activating and playing the audio link isn't doing anything for me.
