It was a great ad, until the end, with the Chrysler tag line. At first I thought it was an ad for the Detroit renaissance, then I thought it was a broader ad for moderation and a coming together. The ending poisoned it. If the ad had been backed by GM, Chrysler and the independent Ford, we would not be talking about the politics but more about the message.
