A wonderful message right up to about 3 mins 14 secs into it. Then, the useless divagation and inappropriate "disconnect" with a lecture on sports.

I am recovering from a grievous headache, a secondary reaction to the preliminary cause--a charlie horse between the ears.

Again, the first section was marvellous. Then, the "disconnect." HM's handlers and/or staff-writers did HM no service by writing the last half of this message. But then, HM is fully responsible for this empty "disconnect."

Yet, with the 1662 BCP for Mattins and Evensong, I shall continue to remember HM in prayer.

Perhaps, HM may make improvements.

Regards,
Donald Philip Veitch

Correction:

"Perhaps next year, HM may make improvements."

The first part touches my heart -- should be shared with TEC.
The second part does have a good message which might be best used separately.
Thanks Mary for sharing this.

Thanks! A big surprise tied into the 400th anniversary of the 1611 King James Version Bible:

Two scholars have compiled the first worldwide census of extant copies of the original first printing of the 1611 King James Version (sometimes referred to as the "He" Bible). For decades, authorities from the British Museum, et al., have estimated that “around 50 copies” of that first printing still exist. The real number is quite different.
