Tip of the grateful Tin Foil Hat to Cheryl Wetzell of Anglicans United. Thanks Cheryl! You can read more here. Sadly, with the explosion of the volcano in Iceland, the Church of England reps are stranded in London.

Australia and New Zealand not "Global South" except by select invite? How come, BB?
Interesting that the entire South American community is also left off. It seems not Global South, but parts of Africa and a scattering of asia. Hmmm... Buls*** meeter hits the red here....

Australia, New Zealand, and the Middle East, and India, as well as Asia and Africa. Obviously Rowan Williams takes it seriously. We have both ACNA and TEC reps (John Howe and Mark Lawrence) together hanging out. And there are many others there as well, not on this list.
bb
Not Australia & New Zealand, BB, apart from Jensen (surprise) and Richard Elena, the NZ bishop who got Lambeth of to a flying start by lying about the opening sermon of the Conference, claiming that it had ended with a "Buddhist chant". Guess that lie was his ticket to Singapore? Incidentally, I see that neither Bishop Duleep de Chickera, Bishop of Colombo, source of that "Buddhist chant", nor any other representative of the Church of Ceylon, is listed as attending. Sri Lanka insufficiently "Global South"?
South Africa - Primate Thabo Makgoba?
Familiar with the expression "Yes Men", BB?
Ax to grid, Lapinbizarre?
BB,
Does anyone know why there were no representatives from the Church of England in South Africa?
You have missed the Revd Dr Christian Troll off the list.
Who cares anymore,..I certainly don't,..wasting money on irrelevant meeting, ..that could be spent in Haiti,..or any other poor continent,.... What a waste of time,...
These U.S.A. moneychangers can SUCK JESUS'S ASS!!
It is the first time I remember seeing your name and avatar here, so Welcome (you do have a way of making a first impression).
These folks may much more about "any other poor continent" than you realize, as many actually represent much of what the World Bank labels "Least Developed Nations." Actually very few represent the US or Canada, while they have provided us in the US support. So oddly your comment is not accurate.
May the Lord Bless you and please turn your emotion into actions and please do send your money to Haiti. I can recommend several ministries who have had a long term presence before the Earthquake if you are looking.
