Spring Cleaning at the Cafe

It wasn't exactly planned.

Though I have been thinking about it for quite a while - experimenting with other test designs, thinking about freshening up the place. Didn't want to do a complete redesign, just freshen up the place.

In fact, that's what I was doing this morning when I freshened the BabyBlueOnline.org instead of my test locations. So, we're thinking it may be a new day.

So you'll see things changing through the day and probably for a bit, moving a chair here, moving a table there, pushing the David Blue Memorial Pinball Machine over to a different corner, and watering the plants. The good news is that the bar stays where it is.

Appreciate your prayers, it's a bit like walking on a tightrope with a sense that at any minute we could go plunging down into the ravine.

UPDATE: I remain calm, I remain calm.

AFTERNOON UPDATE: One of the incidents this morning is that when I clicked to update what I thought was the "test template" and then discovered it was not the "test template" I lost the "Cafe Links." These are the links to websites and blogs here at the Cafe. I've been in a little bit of denial since that happened, but then - just now - a brain wave.

I want to thank my my father and my mother, through whom I apparently inherited the Geek Gene. It's been a shock to discover that even Fine Arts students can have geek genes, but I am grateful.

I would also like to thank Elf Girl from T-19 who years ago told me about the wonderful Google Gift called "Cached."

I'm working on restoring the links now. Stay tuned.

This song keeps going through my head as I've been working on the website today - someone is praying. Again, I am so grateful. It could have been any song that keeps going over and over in my mind, but this is the one that is playing. Again, if you are you are out there praying for this process, I am so grateful.

It looks great - much easier on the eyes than the white on black font.

I am reminded of "Trading Places". I can see, I can see. Thank you so much. Butter Beers all around.
