Senator from New Hampshire: "This will not work for me ..."

Yep, Senator Gregg (R-NH) has suddenly declined to become President Obama's Commerce Secretary, saying, "it has become apparent during this process that this will not work for me as I have found that on issues such as the stimulus package and the Census there are irresolvable conflicts for me. Prior to accepting this post, we had discussed these and other potential differences, but unfortunately we did not adequately focus on these concerns. We are functioning from a different set of views on many critical items of policy."

Yes, that is correct. Read it all here. Take it away, Snowball:

If you want to read the $800 billion Pork Barrel Stimulus Bill, you can now read it here. Pretty soon we're all going to be joining Snowball on the chair.

I took a quick look at the USDA section (my old agency). It looks a lot like a regular appropriations bill.

Yeah, an appropriations bill that never went through the standard process. Neither the senate or house reading and debating the contents and the implications. This is ludicrous! Less than 17% for infrastructure, the rest is pork as far as the eye can see and more bailouts for banks, finance, investment and corporate interests. I'll wager that at least 50 or more % will be directed overseas. There is no oversight, no transparency or disclosure. This is an attempt to subvert our country, place us at the mercy of the Chinese, Indians and the globalist power elite. There is no Buy American, no E-
Verify, it's one colossal scam that will do nothing but replicate the bailouts we've seen already. We have more than 22 million citizens un/underemployed, and more will have lost jobs, pushed out into the street.
