House Minority Leader John Boehner stands on the floor of the House of Representatives today holding the entire "Stimulus" Ka-Billion Dollar 1,1071 Pages Bill and reminds his colleagues, that nope, not one legislator has actually read the bill. And then - thump.

Elections have consequences. We have the government we deserve. God help us.
Yeah...it's kind of like "We KNOW they have WMD...we've read the intelligence reports, now let's drop a trillion or two on a war".
While I think the Dems are far from perfect and I worry about our economic future if they are allowed to spend without restraint, I fear more these same Repub's that took a budget surplus and spent it on an unnecessary war and now are talking about fiscal responsibility! Are you serious?! Really? John Boehner helped preside over the worst economic mess in almost a century! He (and most of his colleagues) should have resigned and apologized to the American people for gross incompetence and mismanagement.
I agree. Ideological partisanship is out of place now. What is needed is reason, pragmatism and the conversion of minds and hearts. I do not want to hear anymore republican this , democrat that, especially from Christians. We need to read St. Augustines's Civitas Dei - The City of God.
