I am finding it a bit hard to be thankful for anything today given the tragedy at Va. Tech. Let's all pray for the families of those students who lost their lives, those students who were injured and the entire student body.
As a 30+ year Army wife - who has had a husband & a brother deployed on three continents over the years - I can't tell you how moving this is.
I see the photos and think of so many that I have seen before from years past. I remember Desert Storm and Afghanistan and the fears that those left behind feel.
And I am reminded that the best thing - the only sane thing - to do is to praise Him in the storm. And it is amazing how much peace that can bring to the troubled heart.

Thank you, Babyblue, for the reminder.
Thanks BB...
