Miss Mary...your choice of music is wonderful, and the pictures are as well. I come regularly just to look! BTW I speak to your gift in this on my blog, (although the context may be way off or not.) I do admire the work. A question... the music you post...can you give me a clue how to do this, still coloring within the lines? Drop a line poetmark@comcast.net

Thanks for the offer of a cup of coffee... I may just be up for one. Mark Harris.

I liked the music so much I got it from I-tunes -- and I put the picture on my desktop. (I have a small sailboat)

When I went "home" to Hawaii for my 25th High School Reunion I played this song so many times as I drove around Oahu remembering my high school years and growing up there that it is now linked with that trip. I couldn't believe I'd come home - finally - after so many years of being away. The sense of heading home, across the sea - in my heart there is a connection between the feelings I had when I went home to Hawaii and now as we approach a momentous moment in our life together at Truro. God is so good, His gifts are more than we could ever ask for.

Israel was just getting started when I was living on Oahu - I think he was on a record that was put out by the local radio station and voted on by listeners. He was just a kid then. When he died the governor decided to have him lie in state in the State Capitol and hundred and hundreds of people lined up to pay their respects (was it thousands? I can't remember - but it was a tremendous outpouring from the people of Hawaii). It was an extraordinary honor for this Kamaina musician.
