Exquisite tune, BabyBlue! Whence came it?

It's by the composer Jeremy Soule. But you will be surprised what he composes music for! Read it all here:

We should probably keep an eye on him.

so yes, I am surprised! But your choices in music have never let me down so...

I listened and loved it.

where can "eye of the storm" be found??

Well, this is a new adventure here at the Cafe. The website is http://www.directsong.com/ and it's called Guild Wars Prophesy. It does not appear that Jeremy Soule is mainstream yet. But it's obvious that Howard Shore is a big influence (as is John Williams). Next generation.

I've put up one other composition I could find on the front page. Just click the "play" button.

But obviously, this music represents the mood for this evening as we gear up for tomorrow.

You can listen to snips of his compositions at directsong.com. It also appears his Harry Potter compositions are available from iTunes as well.

one other thing-- I find it interesting that my first impression from both pieces was "this sounds like Harry Gregson Williams' score for Narnia." And indeed, there is Gregson, listed as "similar artist" to Soule. All worth keeping an eye on...
