Hold On ...
It's not over yet.
Step by Step
Oh God, You are my God
And I will ever praise You
Oh God, You are my God
And I will ever praise You
I will seek You in the morning
And I will learn to walk in Your ways
And step by step You'll lead me
And I will follow You all of my days

You say hold on, then I'm holding on. Abp Akinola says he's sick, then I believe he's sick. Otherwise would be to doubt the word of people I trust.
Do we have any notion yet of when "Monday" will be? IOW, should we here in the US plan to stay up really, really late?

Well, if General Convention is any indication, my guess is that not many are sleeping tonight in Dar Es Salaam.
One of the things to comes to my mind in these reports that Archbishop Akionla is ill is that this is indeed costly. These Anglican leaders have pledged their lives to the call of God to serve His people and they will be held to an acountability before the LORD in a way we will not. It is a sobering thing to be a bishop, or archbishop, and tonight as I think through what tomorrow may bring, I recognize that it is a very serious moment in the history of the Church. Rather than throwing ourselves overboard, perhaps we should be steering toward the light we see in the distance - for it means we are getting closer to shore and home.

Hi Baby Blue -- I am amazed you posted this song today. At Potomac Hospital last night, I played and sang this song for a dear friend as he lay dying. He went home to be with the Lord at 2:20 this morning.
Peace,
Pat
