O come, O come Emmanuel ...

O come, O come, Emmanuel
And ransom captive Israel
That mourns in lonely exile here
Until the Son of God appear
Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel
Shall come to thee, O Israel.

The hymnal instructs that this is be joyous, but this is the second time you've posted a more sober version of this hymn.

Thank you!

What you do not know is my aunt is struggling with one form of cancer and friend from Kairos, a young adults ministry of TFC, may be in his last days -- to be survived by a cute little two year-old girl and wonderful wife. It does not make any sense, but neither any of the other deaths I've known the last few years, except Gen 3 SUCKS, but we have a hope and His name is Jesus!

Thank you! Merry Christmas!
