Now is the time to pray ...

It is true, a church building is not the church, but oh, it is a home that tells the story of the people who lived there.

thanks for this beautiful video. I hope someone makes one for The Falls Church, too.

Thank you Mary! This is the video we showed at our 50 year anniversary celebration right? It was lovely then; it means so much more now.

I'm not a member of Truro, or even an Episcopalian or Anglican, but at a couple key times, Truro has ministered deeply to me. I pray now for God's comfort and providence to be showered on you in this difficult time.

I hear that April 30 is the property handover date for TFC. Same date for Truro?

Yes, I was in court all day today. Judge Bellows was hoping to issue his Final Order today but by 7:15 p.m. tonight it was clear that everyone needed a bit more time so the Final Order will be issued tomorrow at 2:00 p.m.

Judge Bellows did agree to the Virginia Churches request to handover the property on April 30 (the Episcopal Church and the Diocese had put forward a March 30th date). This applies to all the churches.

There was also good news that we can keep our church names, just not use the word "Episcopal" or "Episcopalian," and use Anglican instead. There are more details that the Judge ruled on but I am thinking it best to wait until the Final Order is issued tomorrow.

The attorneys are working hard tonight and again I ask us all to pray for them as they work together to prepare Judge Bellows Final Order.

The link to FCNP is a biased fluff piece, probably placed by DioVA's PR group. It relates how benevolent the DioVA has been. The court transcripts will show differently.

Ah, more journalistic flatulence from the News Press. Quite a frequent emission from the former Lyndon Larouche acolyte running the paper.
